Help us make the world a better place by helping us promote this very important cause. The Living Earth Guide's mission is to Love, Bless and Honor the Planet.
This guidebook, like everything else, has evolved from the nonprofit organization Planet Blessed which has a growing inventory of publications, programs, and products for helping individuals, organizations, and communities "Bless the Mess."
We anticipate publishing this guide some time in 2023. Please contact Charles Betterton if you would like to be a part of this campaign. We are also looking for content contributors and/or sponsors.
This guide is based on our Earthism campaign where we shared 30 Earthisms in April 2022 for loving, blessing, and honoring the Earth.
Please feel free to contact Charles Betterton if you are interested in helping us publish the Living Earth Guide!
Are you looking for a simple mindfulness and gratitude practice that can help you, love, bless and honor our beautiful Planet Earth? Are you looking for a simple way to help make the world a better place? Help us heal the world by taking the time to Love, Honor, and Bless Mother Earth with positive intentions. Let's work on raising the individual and collective consciousness on Spaceship Earth together!
When was the last time you thanked Mother Earth for how lovely she is? It’s so important to be kind to the planet, because in essence, the planet is a living, breathing organism. Taking the time to bless and send love and compassion to Mother Earth helps us make up for all the times in which we may have hurt her. Take a moment today to honor the interconnectedness of all things and all forms of life and thank the Earth for providing you with nourishment, oxygen, energy, and gravity.
Do you wish there was something you could do to help heal the Planet? Working with Earthisms is a great way to love, bless and honor Mother Earth.
Earthism for Sacred Connection to Mother Earth
I bless and honor the sacred connection I have with Mother Earth. I am grateful for this connection to all living things. I honor this blessing. I bless the sacred path I am on. I see the Earth as my Sacred Mother. I am honored to be Earth's caretaker and take full responsibility for this honor. I listen intently to the natural environment all around me and honor the gift she gives us. By listening, I feel connected to the land, to my evolutionary past, and to myself again. I understand that it is my right to choose my path and that this is a sacred privilege. I honor that part of me that is connected to that which is greater than me and that part of me connected to Gai. I have great faith in the sacred journey of life. I am the consciousness and energy of love, source, divine consciousness, infinite wisdom, and faith. I walk the sacred path of my life with graciousness and gratitude. I strive to be open to the quiet whispering of my soul and I thank Mother Earth for this divine connection we so graciously share.
Mother Earth is indeed a great bodhisattva. Not only does she have the capacity to heal herself but she can help us heal ourselves if we know how to take refuge in her. If we truly believe in the planet’s power to heal herself, we know she can also heal us. We can have faith in Mother Earth because she is not an abstract idea but something very concrete, something very real and tangible. We can feel her solidity under our feet; we can see her majesty in high mountain peaks and lakes, in the vast blue sky, winding rivers and deep oceans. If we know how to take refuge in Mother Earth, we can experience healing through sitting, walking or simply by breathing. We don’t have to do anything at all. Just surrender ourselves to Mother Earth and she will do everything for us. We are the Earth. The Earth is us. Allow this process to happen by itself. Breathing in, Mother Earth is breathing in with me. Breathing out, Mother Earth is breathing out with me.
